How to design passive low pass LC filter ?

Please can you help me how to design a Passive low pass filter of L and C values calculation ? Equations ?

Re: How to design passive low pass LC filter ?

This question is somewhat trivial to be worthy of being answered here with the proper extent, you can find hundred tutorials on the web covering the subject with the most varied in-depth analysis, so that you can chose the one which best fits your need.

Re: How to design passive low pass LC filter ?

There is the usual formula for LC resonant frequency.
The part that is not obvious is L:C ratio. This is related to the Q of your filter.
It is also related to the amount of current available to drive the filter. If little current is available then you need large L, small C.
If ample current is available then use small L, large C.

Hi,

There are a lot of online calculators...
