Hi all,

I am doing a LNA project and plan to do some analysis on it. Does anyone have suggestions on what kind of analysis could be meaningful? Any suggestion helps.

Thanks a lot!

Component sensitivity analysis--How does the circuit behave (noise, power, gain, etc.) as the components change due to tolerance, temperature, etc.
Noise analysis
Power analysis
Gain analysis
Dynamic range analysis
Distortion (spurious response) analysis

I'v done simulations over a range of temperature. But they are just simulations.. I am not sure how to translate the simulated results into some kind of analysis.. Could you provide more details?

Thanks!!

check the stability of the amplifier after design, do the matching stuff and then

do s-parameter analysis and try to plot s21 and s11.

Thanks for your reply and suggestions! When I design the amplifier, I use S21, S11 for my specifications. Any details about how to turn that into some kind of analysis?

Well if you have s21 and s11 values with you then you try to optimize your design with those values and then do the s-parameter simulation and you will get your amplifier working for those specs.
