I am going to import E-cut and H-cut measured results of my antenna to CST. How can I do it?

It seems CST accepts just ASCII files. So, I converted the XLSX file to CSV and then saved it as txt. When I imported the data, it gave a weird rectangular plot. It should be like a polar plot. Any idea how can I fix the problem?

Thanks

A basic question why you need to import the measured results of your antenna to CST?
I mean I need to know the reason as there could be other ways to do the same thing

I want to show simulation results and measured results in one window to compare.

I was expecting this then the best way is to export the results of simulations from CST and then plot them using MATLAB or any other software along with the measured results that will serve your purpose equally.
I always follow this way .

Hi

Thanks for the help.
When I export results from CST, it gives me .txt file. How can I plot it with Matlab or Excel? Do I need to convert it to another format?

Use the following way
1. Export the results from CST using post processing tool of CST they will be in text file
2. Import that text file in Excel suing Data>From Text command which will import that text file to Excel
3. Enjoy as now you have results in Excel not you can plot them either in Excel or MATLAB or any tool you want
