Hi,
I am working on a logic circuit will be near to a high power switching device (hundreds of Amps). I wonder level translator and logic gates in 15V logic level such as HEF4104, how much is immune to the noises and radiation.

thank you.

Hi,

The key is good PCB layout, good signal wiring and filters.

I have lot of circuits next to 6000A/2500V switching power. Analog, digital.
The ICs themselves are not the problem.

Could you please introduce some designing reference to me that have addresses these issues! I have read some EMI books but still feel not sure.

Thank you

Radiation will probably be mostly magnetic, so there are two things that may possibly help.
A steel enclosure that is reasonably thick, and minimising loop area in the internal wiring.

Any low level signal paths that are long and may be susceptible, should be twisted pair or screened, and you need to think very carefully about your grounding scheme.

Best reference I know off for this type of thing is Henry W Ott https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_...sprefix=henry+ott,aps,2102&crid=1TZMT6QOVWRM4
