Hi,

I have a similar antenna to the one in this hfss design and I know that there is one or more mistakes inside because it doesn't give me the right radiation and gain results . For exemple. I think that I should have a positive gain and more logical S11 results but now from this design, I have a gain of -16 dB. Maybe it's because of my radiation boundaries or because I created an SMA connector and I don't know if I did it right. I would like to know if you could help me figure out where my mistake could be?

Thank you very much

SMA outer ground should touch the ground plane.

For exemple, If I use the SMA connector like the one in this picture. Do you mean that the "TOP golden rectangular" side of this sma should touch the antenna ground plane and that all the "white material" part which we can see in the picture should be inside the substrate? smagold.jpg
