in the book of "the art of analog layout" ,ceb can reduce the resistor of collector. There is no difference except that. Is that all? Thanks in advance.

ceb structure has smaller BVceo than cbe structure?

The cbe structure will have a larger collector-substrate capacitance than the cbe structure. In addition, dependent on the design rules, the cbe structure will have slightly higher collector-base capacitance (Cbc) due to the collector and base electrode being minimum space from each other. In some double poly bipolar technologies, you will also get a Cbc component from the base poly to the epi region, if the isolation element is too shallow.
