Infra rad thermometer measurement spot size

If i hold this IR thermometer 1cm away from the surface to be measured, what will be the measurmenet spot size?

The catalog doesnt tell the aperture, so the "1:1" ratio cant be used in calculation

The 1:1 parameter seems more like referring to the ratio of the focal distance divided by the inner diameter of the pipe ( its effective optical aperture ), which gives 1cm for the measured area at such distance. Perhaps the purpose of this is indeed to make measurements too close form objects. In general IR thermometers specifically designed to measure appart from objects have laser pointers, which is not the case of this pen type device.
