can anyone help me in designing a bandpass filter for 2GHz to 6GHz using microstripline
i would mainly like to know how the lumped elements are converted to striplines.
thanks in advance

Hello @soundav,

I understand you want to design a microstrip with distributed elements.

I highly recommend you this book

https://www.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-0470408774.html

The main idea is that a lambda quarter transmission line would act like a LC resonator.
There are plenty of topologies to implement a bandpass filter, like:
End-Coupled Half-Wavelength Resonator Filters
Parallel-Coupled Half-Wavelength Resonator Filters
Hairpin-Line Bandpass Filters
Interdigital Bandpass Filters
Combline Filters
Pseudocombline Filters
Stub Bandpass Filters

Maybe for your application I may recomend a levy uwb filter. There is some introduction at my bachelor degree thesis (point 2.2.2) :
