Hello all...i would like to make my own RF meter. Because in my shop we power-up rf generator like Comdel CPS-500, AE Pinnacle 20KW. Sometimes i felt uncomfortable getting closer with these generators. So i am thinking to make simple RF meter...I saw some simple design when googling but if you guys have some experience and share me the design, would really appreciate it. Need to know also how much RF is human body is safe...thanks in advance.

Your best source of information for these types of gadgets are the ARRL Handbooks.

What I like about the ARRL is that they have many DIY projects which have been thoroughly tested and validated.
Contrary to what one finds on many websites (i.e. Instructables) where many projects have serious design flaws.
