In my project i'm using an push button,which connected with pic microcontroller...
It is connected with PORTB..My operation is when the push button is pressed the specified pin will go to low state and operation will executed..
My probelm is its working as specified but when we touched with hand also means it working...
I placed an pull up resistor across the pin and push button but i'm facing the same problem..

Your hand is probably radiating ambient 50/60 Hz mains hum. Our bodies pick it up like an antenna, from all around in the room. A sensitive input pin (or mosfet gate, or transistor bias pin) easily responds to it, if the pin is unconnected and allowed to 'float'.

What value is your pullup resistor? You may need to reduce its value. 4k or 5k is reasonable.

Another possibility is that your body has static charge. This would tend to be an intermittent problem, however there might be some unusual conditions which cause continual static charge, of a certain polarity.

Hi,

We need good informations first to give good answers.
The circuit is not described clearely
--> post your schematic, or at least a draft

You say pullup, but give no value. We don't know it's value. 1 Ohm will be too low ohmic, 1 MOhm will be too high ohmic.
--> give the values of every single part. And supply voltages, and so on..

You say microcontroller. For sure it needs code. Even the code may contain errors. Wrong port setup for example..
--> post your code
