Hello,

It,s possible to realize a convertor dc/dc 12-24V 20A with the following components?

-mosfet irlb4030
https://www.tme.eu/ro/details/irlb4030pbf/tranzistori-canal-n-tht/infineon-irf/
-inductor 13uH, 180A
https://www.tme.eu/ro/katalog/#cleanParameters=1&searchClick=1&search=inductor 180A
-driver for mosfet tc4422avpa
https://www.tme.eu/ro/details/tc4422avpa/drivere-mosfetigbt/microchip-technology/
- Schottky diode

-3300uF, 63V capacitor

Thanks!

It's true that it will have waveforms of 100A or more. You lose several volts, and several hundred Watts, to parasitic resistance, even if you're able to reduce it to 6/10 ohm (according to my simulation). That makes it difficult to build a boost converter for stepping up 12V to 24V 20A.

if your input is 12v, and output is 24v, 20A...then your peak input current in the inductor could be as low as 45A or so.

ILL SEND YOU BOOST SIM AND YOU CAN GET INTO IT. (sorry about capitals)

here, not your spec but youll get into it. iTS FRee ltspice sim

ALSO HERE IT IS A BASIC ONE FOR YOUR SPEC......just so you can get your head into it, not the finished design as you are cognisant.
you just convert the .txt to .asc , open it in ltspice and hit the running man icon
