Need a microcontroller with 16 bits ADC and CAN bus low power, sufficient code and data memory for battery management system not freescale microcontroller other company controller

Specifications usually are values with units. Best if you can provide min/typ/max values.

The only useful informations are:
* microcontroller
* 16 bit ADC
* CAN.

There is an incredible huge ammount of different microcontrollers. Bit width, speed, memories, power supply, power consumption, periferals, instruction set......compiler, simulator, price, availability....

ADC: just searching at farnell gives more than 600 different 16 bit ADCs. Unimportant wether you look for an external ADC or a microcontroller internal ADC ...you need to specify it. Input voltage range, conversion speed, accuracy, channel count...

Please elaborate your system specifications. If you don't have experience in elaborating the specification on your own, then look at comparable applications. See how they did it. See what devices they used. Make your own decisions.

Btw: when I see 16bit ADC inside a microcontroller..
Inside a microcontroller there is so much noise, rapidly varying current at the supply and GND lines...
Therefore they may have 16 bits but sometimes you only can rely on 12bits.

Therefore if you really need 16 bits, then I recommend external ADCs.
Otherwise you should specify the count of bits you really need.
