More important then the brandname is the used chip (if any). Your resolution would be driven by a KS0108B or T6963C. Also some have onboard memory. The availability could be good now for one perticular display brand but could become very hard to get in the future. When you select a type of controller its easyer to switch to another brand witch uses the same chip in the future. It all depends on how mutch units you are going to make ofcourse.
I would use the T6963C, because its more common and you can switch to a higher resolution quite easy. I'll tell you now.. 128x64 aint allot :-(
Try to findout from MOUSER, Digikey catalog. There is very variety type. By the way, you should read the specification carefully, and choose GLCD that buid in with controller (such as T6963C, or else, as Srammie suggested) because, it is more comfort to use than others type, whiich don't have controller inside.
I have taken a look at these sites, however, I'm looking for a graphics LCD with blue backlight, like the ones on crystalfontz.org. They look very nice, and I would like to find the same with Graphics LCD. Any suggestions?
