Hi,

I am new on HFSS. I couldn't get the exact solution for RCS of a dielectric sphere(relative permittivity 4, cond = 0) using HFSS V. 9.0. I am plotting RCS vs. theta.

i used RADIATION as BOUNDARY CONDITION, and plane wave excitation. Should i use different BC? Would appreciate any suggestions.

thanks

Hi,

I think you might have problems with plane wave excitation. Try to use the solver view option from HFSS, to ensure that plane wave excitation is not overridden by other boundaries. also chek for convergence (let the minimum converged paths be 2 or 3).
