Hello, when I try to print something in black it looks like pic related
other colors works fine, I tried options like head cleaning and aligning. I also cleaned it using syringe but nothing changed.
any ideas how can I fix it?
Your black cartridge appears to have several clogged jets, all in a row.
Or it might be a bad electrical connection at the contact pads. This is not easy to diagnose.
Over the years I fussed with several inkjet printers. One thing that often worked, was to boil water in a plastic cap (about 1/4 inch deep), and sit the jets in it for a few minute. If you feel like using alcohol then that might work even better, because the ink is alcohol based.
I looked for a vent hole somewhere on the cartridge. I tried to inhale/blow into it, in an effort to clear clogged jets. As an alternate method to pressurize, I found an ear syringe is effective (although the rubber tip must be pressed firmly onto the surface). Ink oozes out the jets, so place a tissue over them.
I tested the cartridge in the printer. Usually results were improved just a bit. So I had to do several treatments.
I've refilled cartridges many times. A cartridge needs ink which is formulated for that brand of cartridge. Refilling can work, although you may get declining results as time goes by (one or two jets failing).
As careful as I tried to be, I have had ink all over my fingers, and even in my mouth.
It is important not to let jets get dry. As soon as a blank band appears, you should try to solve it quickly.
Usually any problem is solved by a brand new ink cartridge. $40.
One day I saw a laser printer on sale for $50 dollars in a store. This was only a few dollars more than a new ink cartridge. I said goodbye to inkjet printers.
