In Altium I have made a component symbol and added “value” and “decription” attributes, and ticked the box so they shoudl be visible when in the schematic…..however, when I bring the symbol into the schematic, the “description” attribute is not visible, do you know why this is?
In Eagle, this problem never happens, you simply put “>NAME” and “>VALUE” in the schematic symbol library page and its job done.
