I implemented the gabor transform in Matlab and there were satisfactory results compared to the DCT.I tried implementin them in VHDL and the effort was futile. Is DSP implementation the only way to realise gabor or how can i implement in vhdl?
The problem i faced was in implementing the 4D ffts.
