Error found by spectre during circuit read-in.

ERROR (SFE-678): "input.scs" 654: Statement is not in Spectre format. Use `simulator lang=spice' to introduce spice language sections.

I can't understand this error why is it coming. How do I rectify this? :-?

PLz Help..

"input.scs" is a Spectre Netlist when you run Spectre from Cadence ADE.

I think you use device model files of HSPICE Format for Cadence Spectre Netlist.

Use device model files of Spectre Format.

Or add "simulator lang=spice" at top of all device model files of HSPICE Format.

Its in spectre form..I tried changing it to spice... even den also its giving the same error!

where is the option to upload the file in EDAboard? can't locate it!

Error removed when i changed the name of one of the outputs from 1E0 to 1 (or any other way like 2/1R/A).
But i still don't understand what could be the possible reason for not accepting name as "1E0".

So, to remove such kind of error: solution is try changing the names of the input/output ports or wire.
