fm modulator ic

Hi
I m working on remote controlled car where I requires FM modulator & Demodulator IC. Can anybody suggest IC no's that requires less hardware or a ckt that can be used in remote controlled vehicle.

ic fm modulator

I've used NE 566 for FM modulation and NE 565 for Demodulation... and it gave up pretty good results... I guess you can have a look at it... It is widely available too... Hope that helps...

reactance modulator (fm modulators)

For what is worth mentioning what is the frequency range you are making the application?

I think you can pull very well suggested using a VCO chip. If you want to act as a pro, then use some reactance modulator/demodulator circuit and not relying on IC's.

Hi purifier,

What range(in meter) are you getting with your Tx and Rx? I too need it! Better idea would be to use a RF module but that would be a costly affair NE566 and NE565 is real cheap so I would like to try out your idea.
