Hi everyone,

I need some help with ANSYS HFSS software as I have little experience in this simulation tool.

I am trying to compare the absorption or radiation performance of different boundary conditions such as Perfectly Matched Layer (PML), first-order Absorbing Boundary Condition (ABC) and Boundary Internal Equation (IE).

I have a document from ANSYS that shows the return loss of two different radiation boundaries at different incident angles. They have used a Pyramidal horn antenna as a source of radiation and observed the reflection from the radiation boundaries (here is the link to this document: http://www.ece.uprm.edu/~rafaelr/in...ainee/ANSYS_HFSS_Antenna_L04_0_Boundaries.pdf).

So far I have simulated the Pyramidal horn antenna inside the PML boundary and observed the Electric and Magnetic field propagation toward the PML. I can see that there are some reflection as I animate the simulation over different phases but I don’t know how to get graphical results of the reflection vs antenna incident angle.

I would like to know if anyone knows how to setup this test so that we can observe the reflection of the radiation boundaries at different incident angles.

Thank you
