Hi,

I would like to know if this is an inverter circuit. For the circuit on the left, the input signal is pin 1 of header P2, and the output is SERVO_RXD.

For the circuit on the right, SERVO_TXD is the input and pin 1 of header P3 is the output.

V_SERVO = 5v

Hi,

I don't think this is an inverter circuit.
I rather think it is some level converter.

I guess it's an interface to perform serial communication with a digital servo. Apart from drawing faults, as a common gate transistor circuit, it can't be inverting. So the answer is no.
