Hi...

In layout design....
What are the disadvantages in common centroid matching layout???

Thanks......

Usually a common centroid layout is larger than just placing the transistors side by side. The routing is also a bit more complex.

also it adds more capacitance

What is the need of using common centroid Matching in Analog Layout. Can any one explain this in fabrication point of view
