hello

this is a combination of a a newbie question and outright frustration. It relates to getting the stm23439i-eval board running and then using it as a embedded target within matlab simulink environment for a transmission controller on a hydraulic hybrid drive
1) I bought a new stm32439I-eval2 board. try as we might and using all the three switch options, this board does not light up. We have tried updating the firmware, ( we can see comms flowing), but there is no program that starts ( even though it is supposed to have a built in program for testing). Is there jumpers or settings I have missed? any help appreciated.

2) Then, we will use matlab/simulink to create models of the vehicle and develop the control system and ultimately run the embedded code on the stm board. we are following the normal design process of matlab and did initial models with arduino and now need to migrate to the stm board.- again, we cannot get the block sets to even talk to the board. we have tried waijung and others. I dont seem to be able to get the board to accept programming via USB. similar boards seem to require both a jumper and a switch setting. I simply cant find what switches and what jumpers are needed here. Again, any help appreciated
