Hi all,

Im using an STM32F401XX. i want to use the internal oscillator and not an external oscillator.

i tried to find what i need to do with the external oscillator pins ( connect to GND or leave them unconnected) but without success.

can someone help me with this issue?

thanks

Did you ever consider to review the STM reference manual?

7.3.14 Using the OSC_IN/OSC_OUT pins as GPIO PH0/PH1 port pins

Hi,

The controller clock is default configured with the internal oscillator, when ever required can switch to external oscillator. I think there is no effect on functionality because of the connection, no need to worry about it.
