Hi,
Need help identifying some shorted out SMD diodes. The package style is SC59 and "D" is marked on top of it. No marking on the under side.

Went through many SMD code books the closest I got was BAS21-03W but when I checked, the datasheet for BAS21-03W, it had a SOD323 package style.

Tried taking photos but parts are small and my camera is not very good, so photo quality is poor. But I have have provided a rough sketch of the part and the exact markings on it. Any assistance is much appreciated.

Hi,

I had a look, but find nothing, except the same one as you did (BAS21-03W); as I understand SOT-23 and SC59 are similar in appearance, and really for future reference only, this NXP products SOT-23 list is pretty extensive:

https://www.nxp.com/packages/SOT23.html

This looks a possibly useful page for their devices, I imagine all manufacturers have this search option somewhere in their webs:

https://www.nxp.com/packages/search?q=sc59&type=0

Good luck finding the part.

Hi,
Firstly appreciate your input. SOT23 and SC59 are indeed similar in appearance but there are some differences in the dimensions. Went through many major semiconductor manufacture websites before posting this thread but I only found BAS21 listed.

Anyways thanks again for the help. I have some BAS21s' on hand. Will try to pop it in the unit I'm working on and wish for the best.
