CW power vs pulse power

I want to know how to calculate pulse signal power from given CW signal power.

For example, majority of chip termination data sheets put CW power rating lets say 150W
than to find out how much pulse power the term can handle with 100us 10% test condition,

is it correct to assume the the term can handle up to 1500W of pulse power?

If anyone could find some sort of equation or information regarding this matter it would be much appreciated.

The difference is named duty cycle, or a time-smoothed power of a pulse. CW power is typically measured by calorimetric power meters that deduce power by measuring heat. Pulsed power can be measured by calibrated detectors or by an oscilloscope reading voltage on a calibrated resistor.
Various termination resistors can handle higher pulsed power but their design must respect a high overheat during a pulse. If such pulse response is not specified by manufacturer, do not attempt to overcharge or a damage can occur. Also power source can be damaged by an abrupt impedance mismatch.
