Hi,

I am looking for 802.11a basic Implementation. Is there any open 802.11a Implementation in vhdl or verilog?

Thanks

There seems to be quite a few older thesis papers on this subject, have you read any of them? They might give you some insight into the OFDM implementation, though I'm sure the actual HDL details will be missing.

Also, have a look on opencores.org

as with most opencores stuff - dont expect much in the way of support or quality code.

may i have some of them?

A google search on "802.11a fpga implementations" shows those papers. Did you try that?

Yes i have tried. but there are paper not code. I need the code.

Never said there was code...

Writing code is the easy part. Understanding what you have to write is the hard part. I'm thinking you don't have that understanding yet, if you can't write the code yourself.

IMO, you design first (architecture, dataflow, pipeline, fsm, etc) then you could hand it to a trained monkey to pound on a keyboard for a couple of weeks to get some code, or pound it out yourself with little difficulty.
