Hello,

I am using two RS485 tranceivers (MAX485). When I provide a 5V square wave at the input to the driver, I measure a constant 3V at the ouput (A and B) of the driver. Shoudn't I get a square wave at the output of the driver??

Please help!!

Regards

I have connected the DE pin HIGH. But stil the output is constant 3V.

Are you looking at this with a voltmeter or an oscilloscope.

i just want to see your schematic drawings in order to see if there is any mistakes. In addition if you want you can add a oscilloscope scope signal values.
