xjtag

1. Support RDI
2. Support 2 hardware breakpts or infinite software breakpts
3. Support ARM/THUMB
4. Support little endian and big endian
5. Support semihosting
6. Support WIGGLER, SDTJTAG or user defined interface

Current version is beta 0.1. It supports ARM7 mcu only.
On later version, I will upgrade it to suuprt ARM9 mcu.

I tested it using ADS1.2 and S3C4510/S3C44B0. Testing
shows that XJTAG works well. It may also support SDT and
AVR. (Not verified). If you are interested in XJTAG, please
have a try.

Note:
This a test version. If you encoutner any problems during
debug, please contact me: openjtag@hotmail.com or reply
this post. I will try to solve it asap. In your email/post, please
state clearly your debugger, cpu and IDCODE detected by
XJTAG.

Instruction:
1. Download the install file.
2. Install it using administrator.
3. Open debugger and chose xdi.dll
4. Then, you can start to debug..

Hope is is useful to you and thank you for supporting.

I think, you'd better select another name for your program, because XJTAG is also commercial JTAG software from Cambridge Technology Group ( see www.xjtag.com) ;-)

Is the any homepage for your project? Also, do you have any plans to include interactive graphical view of pin states of JTAG devices on the board? Any chances to make it open-source? How about plans to include support for Flash memory programming and FPGA/CPLD configuration?

All the best to your project!

Ace-X.

freeware version arm7 software

Hi

thank you for your suggestions.
What you mentioned above is my project's home page(Chinese only). At the beginning, I started this project with some of my frientds. However, they were busy with their own jobs during the develogment. So, I dug and developed XJTAG by myself.

My future plan is to support ARM9 first. Then write a buddy soft for general FLASH programming.

Open source? I am not sure. I am considering.
I hope someone interested in JTAG can help me to finish the job together.

Btw, I am from China. Ace-X, where are you from?

Added after 2 minutes:

To bobcat1

I am busy rescently. Later, I will write a manule for XJTAG, which will includes how to install, config and use it.
Because XJTAG uses RDI1.5.0/RDI1.5.1, it should support all debuggers using RDI.

thx for supporting.

Is this XJTAG project still active?
Can anyone send me direct link to XJTAG software since both links are on chinese and i can not download latest xjtag software (i want to download latest version).

arm7tdmi debugger open source

Is there any source code for it ? We develop on one multi-core chip and have problems with OCDRemote. We currently develop some code by ourselves so maybe to reuse XJTAG can be better idea.

BTW: I see openjtag pages only in Chinese. Is there any english version ?
