Hello All,

Please help me in plotting the gain in HFSS. I go through these steps: result/ far field report/rectangular plot /antenna params/ Peak gain or peak realized gain / and set solution in context to sweep and primary sweep to freq, and press new report, but the HFSS does not give me result. It keeps loading!!

Please help.
Kawther

If its loading, then you might just have a large simulation. Have you tried waiting?

If you don't see anything when its done, you probably haven't saved the fields for the sweep, which also needs to be a discrete sweep.

It is an UWB antenna. Its bandwidth is from 2 to 12 GHz. I use the fast sweep. I clicked the save fields.
It starts loading once i choose the sweep from solution box to the right side of create rectangular plot.

In the project manager look for the reflector antenna icon ...... make sure you have set up a far field sphere to calculate radiation patterns in the first place.

that plus the information above.
