Hi,
I want to implement intelligent battery management system, Now i got the physical parameters like current, voltage & temperature. i want to estimate SOC(state of charge), SOH(state of health), RUL(remaining useful life) of the battery.

there is too many methods to estimate this parameters, which is the best method among all. can you share the specific PDF or material to estimate this parameters.

In this project i am using LiFePo4 battery, and can you please share there is any specific sensor to estimate this parametrs.

Thanks & Regards,
Chandu.Kurapati.

Seeing there are many methods, all you can do is try experimenting with a method and see if you can make it work.

To measure voltage should be pretty straightforward. It tells you only roughly the state of charge. It depends on temperature, how recently the battery was charged, etc.

Amperes can be measured as the voltage drop across a very low-ohm resistor (or short length of wire).

One important measurement is Amp-hours going to and from the battery. Do this day by day over a period of years. Inevitably, battery capacity goes down steadily. It will tell you state of health. The rate of decline will let you estimate its remaining useful life.
