hi, all,

I just receive one enquiry to build a hardware that needs to support Push To Talk over Cellular. And the customer is saying there are ready 3G modems that support this. After some research over the internet, I think this Push To Talk over Cellular is a service offered by third party, like Tornado, Kodiak. And the service is via the internet data via SIP like protocol? Is there any hardware specific requirement on this? Anyone can advice?
thanks in advance.

Dyu

Just to refine my question. Is there any modem specific feature that is required in order to support PTT? Or I can use any 3G module and implement the feature on the the software application layer?
