Menu driven USSD application using SMPP

Hello House,

How is USSD menu implemented. for example, when you dial *123# from a phone, how does the ussd application get to responds with a m menu like "Welcome to MyService 1.Balance enquiry 2.Sport news 3.Weahther Report and so on and so forth."

I have already implemented the handlers for various command such as Bind, Submit_sm, Data_sm,Unbind. The problem is, the documentation for data_sm response does not specify how to response with menu item as describe above.

Please can someone point in the right direction. Find attached the SMPP 3.4 documentation i am using
