Good Day,

I hope the forum can provide some answers to this query.

My modem has to send telemetry data at 6 hourly intervals to a web-server for two months. It can connect to the network and upload its data. After approx a week, the network connection closes and the modem cannot reconnect.

Are there methods where I can poll the gprs network and if closed then reset the modem. What, in the forums opinion, would be the best strategy to ensure that the modem can reliably send its telemetry data for this period? Grateful for any assistance and advice.

Kind Regards
Bob Carter
