There are a couple of different ways to express Line and Load regulation with units.

For example, Line Regulation in %, %/V, or ppm/V:

(ΔVout/ΔVin) * 100% for % line regulation
[(ΔVout/Vout(nom))/ΔVin] * 100% for %/V line regulation
(ΔVout/Vout(nom))/ΔVin * 1*10^6 for ppm/V line regulation

Load regulation in %, %/mA, ppm/mA:
(Vout@Iout=0 - Vout@Iout=max)/Vout@Iout=max for % load regulation
(ΔVout/Vout(nom)/ΔIout) * 100% for %/mA load regulation
(ΔVout/Vout(nom))/ΔIout * 1*10^6 for ppm/mA load regulation

Are these correct? Sometimes you see load regulation defined as ΔVout/ΔIout but the units for that are Ω which makes sense because I see that as output impedance.

ΔVout/Vout(nom) has no units as they cancel, correct?

its just the deviation in volts divided by the nominal output voltage....expressed as a percentage so multiply by 100

Ok, but that was not my question.

I presume that all 3 equations are correct; although, personally I have never se for %/V or ppm/V for line reg or %/mA or ppm/mA for load reg.

It's all a matter of how one wants to express the error. That's what I wanted confirmation on.

I thought line and load regulation was exactly what I put above. The delta's in your above refer to something else, I don't think that is "line and load regulation". If their is a delta in it then that is something to do with dynamic analysis, or transient analysis, ...basically, feedback loop stuff.
