Hi All,

If my probe shows the following specs :

1) 10 :1
2) 1 Mohm for 6-24pF
3) 10 Mohm for 13pF

Even though my input technically is 50ohms from the source, does this mean i have to set my oscilloscope to 10x and input load to 1Mhom ?

By the way, what does (2) and (3) means?

Thanks

I essentially means that the oscilloscope input impedance must be according to 2). Probe compensation is possible for an input capacitance in the said range. The oscilloscope input must be 1 Mohm type, 10:1 setting is only a matter of scaling the display units correctly. 3) is the probe input impedance.
