What are the latest research in Analog circuit design going on??

What are the problems industries facing for analog circuit designing?? Where is the challenge in circuit design?
 

Did they ever award the prize for the Design competition of the most efficient + tiny kW scale AC inverter? $1m prize

Hi Rahul,

If your question is about latest research and challenges then I guess FPAA is an interesting area. In field programmable analog array provide an opportunity to the user to design the analog circuit by programming instead of circuit designing using discrete components. There would be limitations to some extent FPAA would provide a degree of freedom. On the other hand the design using analog chips instead of discrete components is already very common these days.
