Communication with GSM Modul

Hello everybody,

I got little question about my GSM Modul (Wavecom Q2403) and I use an embedded RTOS version of linux.

How do I send/receice messages from my ARM7 chip to the GSM Modul. Is there a device node for (TTYxyz) ? With functions would fit best? Does anyone has any experience on this topic?

You have to connect the modem to the uart - use cross connection{ TX -> RX ,Rx -> TX } and send AT command to control and transfer data from & to the GSM module

It is like communicating with a modem. Very simular!! So download the atm doc. Attention: The atm differs from company to company. E.g. Siemens and Nokia has some different commandy and syntax, although they say that is "ATM".
