Hi,

Is it ok to replace a 680uF 50v with 1000uF 16v?

Thanks,
Yaron.

The original capacitor had a maximum allowed voltage of 50V and your replacement is much, much lower at only 16V. Why? Maybe because the capacitor is frequently exposed to 40V or more?

Hi
I don't know the ESR & ripple current, temp is the same 105c.
Yea it was 50v and now its 16v but microfarad is now 1000uF Vs. 680uF.

Well its my lcd power board which has bad capacitors.
According you I should have the same spec as missing info is needed, right?
