wat does boolean mean in fpga , i mean how does it differ from bit ?

boolean has two values TRUE and FALSE

Please please please please (I'm begging) read a VHDL book or VHDL tutorial.

Boolean can be true or false. Bit can be '0' or '1'. They are completely different types. But on an fpga they will become the same thing.
