capacitor power supply???

hello FrnZ., :-D

Can you pl suggest me any simple current boost circuit for x-rated power supply module :thinker: :roll:because am getting maximum of only 240mA output with 230v input but i need upto 500mA and i don't want to connect any x-rated capacitor in parallel to get desired output :):)

There's really no way around using higher capacitance, the amount of charge delivered to the output is directly proportional to the capacitance.

Mtwieg is correct. You want double the current? You require double the capacitance, for the same input voltage/frequency.
Basic electric laws.
