Hi all,

I am not clear about the slew rate and bandwidth, based on how to know best and precision opamp. Actually slew rate has 0.3V/us(OP07) and 2.8V/us(OP27). Which is high speed opamp and why?

thanks & regards
santhoshkumar.

Hi,

If you need at the output of an opamp a fast change of output voltage. Let's say 10V.
Now the one has 0.3V/us. Means 0.3V in one us. 3V in 10us. 10V in 33.33us.

The other with 2.8V/us needs about 3.6us. This is faster than the other.

Look at the curves of "Maximum Output Voltage Swing vs Frequency". The slow one has trouble above 3kHz typically or 1kHz minimum but the fast one typically works well to 30kHz.
