Atmel is now launching the DSP Design Contest 2005, open to students at universities and colleges, to give a chance to the best minds to turn their ideal applications into reality and to win exciting prizes

The first step:

In order to become familiar with the Diopsis 740 platform contestants will receive a software pack (part number AT572D740-SDK) which includes a high-level compiler and a functional simulator.
Before the first deadline, the contestants must submit a report, containing the title of the project, project goals and the planned development steps.

The second step:

The 12 most original and pertinent projects will be admitted to the next phase of the contest. Three days training in Rome will be offered (free lodging with accommodation in a double room per each team). During the training, a complete JTST kit (part number AT572D740-DK1 ) will be delivered to the selected contestants free of charge to allow them to realize the project. The complete contest kit consists of the JTST hardware development board and the software development tool.
