Hi ,

This is on High Priority.

Can any one explain me about CCS libraries wave propagation. what is the advantage of wave propagation.

Why sign off STA analysis will be done with ccs libraries.

Please reply me ASAP.

Thanks,

The only thing I know is that CCS libraries are more accurate than non-CCS libraries

I mean to say the timing results are more accurate when using CCS libraries

The CCS is representation of the current waveform that cell provides with a particular slew and load. In sub-micron technology the output current thereby voltage waveform is more complex than linear representation. the voltage dependent current source creates a realistic waveform at the output. That "wave" is used as propagation and that is what makes it more accurate as more realistic output waveform is used during the timing analysis.
