My aim is to make an image out of an schematic in cadence virtuoso without all of the displayed properties, ie I'd like to have only wires and compoents on the image. Is there away to hide all properties and than to show them again without disabling the properties manually for each component?

Make the responsible label layers invisible in the LSW. Depending on the designKit used, there may be different layer labels responsible for the properties' presentation. LSW-description.png

Back when I used Cadence (IC5) you could choose what
to annotate, in (if I recall) the simulation annotation menu
(where you could select node voltages, or "design defaults"
(your instance params), etc. Maybe there is "none" as an
option.

If you want to mess with layers, be sure you are touching
the "plotter" layers if it's going to hardcopy or a graphics
file output. Display layers works for screen grabs etc. but
(last I used it) doean't affect plotting outcomes.
