Output of diode bridge rectifier

I am using a bridge rectifier(BR1010) for rectification in my project....I am getting some strange results while applying certain voltage as well as when there is no supply voltage..I am not using any input or output filter...Below attached is my schematic

1)Why is the output voltage like this when supply is present???
is it because of absence of filters??

2)When there is no supply ,is this voltage due to some noise or may be due to some storing inside the rectifier

schematic is only AC voltage+diode Bridge rectifier...with no input or output filters
 

please specify your input voltage range and attach your circuit picture.
 

is your load strongly reactive?
in the case which there is no load, is the voltage damped after a while or it is oscillating?
 

Hi,

your scope jig picks up 50Hz noise.

Put a 10k Ohms reisistor as load in parallel to your jig and see what happens.

In both cases there is no load...I am not able to see any oscillation..

sry...What do u mean by jig???are u suggesting to apply certain load across the output of rectifier???
 

Yes, your measurement is being affected by the isolation transformer capacitance to earth, and the high input impedance of your scope and whether your scope ground is earthed... put a slight load on your bridge rectifier (1-10mA)

Yes it was due to absence of load...I applied some load,its perfectly working now
