How to simulate IR drop with Calibre PEX in transient simulation

Hello,

I am using Calibre PEX for RC extraction, and post-layout simulation with spectre. I don't know how to simulate IR drop at different spots of the chip when I run transient simulation.

Because we can only add one label on power network, then how can I know the IR-drop of the spots I am interested in ?

Thank you in advance.

IR drops are mostly measured for metal routing. So use a metal resistor at both ends to measure the resistivity. Just take the Metal routing alone with metal resistor and simulate the pex with spectre then find the current and subtract the metal resistance from the calculated resistance to obtain the routing resistance.

Thanks.
