Bluetooth communication fom PC to bluetooth module

Hi,

I am trying to send command from bluetooth device on my laptop to a bluetooth module connected to a micro-controller. Can any tel me how the communication can be established??
 

which bluetooth module you are using to interface with micro controller

Hi Ashad,

How can I use the bluetooth device on the PC as a serial port... I mean is there any settings that we need to make to configure it as a serial port
 

first get the bluetooth module paired to your pc BT module through BT software in your PC. your bluetooth module in pc will have com port number. find it through device manager. then use any serial port software like terminal and create connection with the com port number of PC BT and with same baud rate of your other bluetooth module

Hi welove8051,
I tried doing so... It did not work... I found out the COM port and used tera-term and hyper terminal both... It did not work... I connected my bluetooth module on COM port of other PC. It did no receiver anything. I set both ports with a baud rate of 9600.
