Can someone help me figure out why Altium disconnects my plane from the net I already assigned it to ??? Specially split planes; I mean that is a pain in the a$$ to redo !

Please help !
Thanks so much.

I think that split plane you might be connected to "no net". Same problem facing here.

Solution: Create a fake net(just a single-small wire) in schematic, give a net name. Same net name assign to the split plane.

Usually it happen when you break some line belonging to split planes. The plane assume the net of its neighbors planes. Are you sure the lines boundaries of the split plane are not broken?
