Help me choose Altera evaluation board

I was wondering who has tried one of these altera eval boards:

I am mostly interested in an FPGA that I will be able to implement on my own home-made boards, and would like to purchase an eval board to get me started. Both of these seem good, so I was hoping for some feedback (or other Altera eval board suggestions).

The MAX7000 series are CPLD's, not FPGA's. The site you link has it wrong. The Cyclone is an FPGA.

Which @ltera Eval board?

Ya, I think I'm definitely going for FPGA's, and I really like Cyclone from what I See. They are cheaper than ACEX, and seem to be more capable. Anyone have any experience with Altium's live-design products? They are pretty cheap, and I already have protel.
